The 2009 Employment Law Guide for Washington Employers

2009 guideTo assist Washington-based employers with the increasingly complex field of employment-related law, Seattle-based Dorsey labor & employment attorneys have published the "The 2009 Employment Law Guide: A Practical Guide for Washington Employers - Federal and Washington State Law, Selected California Statutes and Cases."

The Guide is intended to help employers understand the many and varied legal issues that can arise from everyday employment-related decisions, including hiring, discipline, and termination. The format is designed principally to heighten awareness and facilitate discussion of these and other subjects, rather than a formal set of rules listing "do's" and "don'ts."

The Guide is available for purchase: $100 for the combined book and CD. Please email Stephanie Herman or call (206) 903-5427 to order.

NOTE: This Guide is published for general information purposes only. These materials do not provide legal opinions or legal advice, and should not be relied upon as such. No attempt has been made to address all of the legal issues involved in the employment relationship, or treat any one issue comprehensively. Moreover, while the cases and statutes have been updated as of February 2008, the law in this area changes rapidly and dramatically. For all these reasons, one should always consult an attorney in regard to the legal implications of any particular employment situation.
